North Island HEA at El Rancho cancelled
We are sorry we have had to cancel the HEA event at El Rancho due to lack of registrations. It is always tricky to meet minimum requirements at these live-in venues as well as predict a viable budget.

All those who paid a registration fee will receive a full refund back to the account used to pay it initially. Please expect this in the coming day or two, if not already.

Alternative event to be held at Tawa Baptist Church, near Wellington!
The Education Team has devised an alternative programme to be held at Tawa Baptist Church in Tawa. We plan to continue the growth and development of our BHNZ Coaching Candidate group, practising our presentations for the Christchurch HEA event, and offering coaching to quartets. Let's call it 'HEA Tawa Styles'!

All is not lost for non-quartet attendees!
We are aware that some registrants have purchased flights to attend the HEA event and we are keen that you don't lose your investment. Non-quartetters are also welcome to attend, sitting in on presentations and quartet coaching sessions. Some of the classes will involve participation but please note, we have changed the focus to help grow and develop our coaching faculty team and to offer quartet coaching. Such a lot can be learned through active observation!

Quartet Regional Qualifications
The quartet qualification for Nationals will still be held in person with live judging at the church on Saturday 21 May at 11am. [Please register to enter this qualification round here].
Quartets will also receive coaching from our Faculty after the contest on Sat and on Sunday morning.

Registration for HEA Tawa Styles
A small fee of $40 per person will be charged to help cover our existing costs that would have been covered by the HEA budget plus a koha for the church.
